The Department of Computer Science at MDIS invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor on a full-time basis. This is a 1-year renewable contract, commencing in the Fall semester of 2025. We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified academic to join our dynamic and growing department dedicated to excellence in teaching, innovative research, and community engagement.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in computer science, contribute to curriculum development, supervise student research projects, and engage in scholarly research and publications. Preferred areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Computer Networks.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline. A demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness and scholarly work is highly desirable.
